Business Hours

We are normally open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm (Pacific Standard Time). We close for all major holy days, including Holy Week (from Holy Wednesday at noon) and Great Feasts of the Church (according to the Old Calendar). These include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following dates:

• September 21: Birth of the Theotokos (Virgin Mary)
• September 27: Elevation of the Life Giving Cross
• December 4: Presentation of the Theotokos to the Temple
• January 6: Nativity of Christ (Christmas)
• January 19: Baptism of Christ (Epiphany or Theophany)
• February 15: Presentation of Christ to the Temple
• March 25: The Annunciation of the Theotokos
• August 19: The Transfiguration of Our Lord
• August 28: Dormition of the Theotokos

Variable holy days include the following. You can use the Orthodox Paschal Calculator to determine the exact dates:

• Holy Week (from Holy Wednesday at noon, the week prior to Pascha [Easter])
• The Ascension of Our Lord (40 days after Pascha)
• Pentecost (50 days after Pascha)

Shipping and Handling Costs

We use real-time U.S. Postal Service (USPS) rates that are based on shipping weight and the destination.

Credit Cards

We do not keep your credit card data on file. Also, your card will not be charged until the day your order ships.

Delivery

Please allow approximately one to two weeks to ship your order, although most orders can be filled sooner. If you need an order by a certain date please advise us when ordering (you can place "need by date" in comment section when checking out) and we will do our best to accommodate you. We will get back to you with any rush handling or express shipping charges necessary to get your order to you on time.

Product Guarantee

All products purchased are fully guaranteed with regard to materials and workmanship. Any problem will be repaired or replaced without charge at any time, by simply contacting us for return authorization.

Returns

No returns will be accepted unless there is a return authorization approved in advance of receiving the returns, and the problem is a material or workmanship imperfection from our production outside of the original artwork which is shown clearly in our catalogue or on our web site. A 15% restocking fee is charged for all returns that are not damaged or do not have defective workmanship.

Discount Groups

We offer two discount levels:

• Church Bookstores: 40% off our icons, 40% off Uncut Mountain Press books, 20% off most other items. A Church Bookstore is defined as one which is clearly established as such: books and icons are kept in stock and on display for sale in a dedicated location, and the store has its own bank account.
• Retail Stores: same as for Church Bookstores except 50% off icons. A Retail Store differs from a Church Bookstore in that it has a separate physical location, regular business hours, a business phone, etc. We offer a deeper discount to offset the additional operating costs of a true retail store.
