Delicate linework and flattened perspective echo the traditions of Edo-period masters, yet the narrative remains unmistakably rooted in Christian iconography.
Through the hand of Vadim, a Moscow-based artist, the piece bridges centuries and cultures. His interpretation transforms traditional Orthodox iconography into something both ancient and newly imagined—a poetic fusion where the Orient meets Constantinople, and heroism becomes an elegant, almost meditative act.
