Absolutely stunning icon. The wings are such a beautiful blue, very very nice!
The colors, wood, and resulting look and feel of this icon are superb. I also like depictions of the Archangel Raphael which feature his medicine box since this highlights his distinctive role as a healer in the book of Tobit. I also enjoy the distinctive bright blue wings. My only criticism is that there is something underwhelming about the face. It is not particularly handsome and the expression seems almost bored.
I've been wanting an icon of Archangel Raphael and happy to finally have one. The colors are beautiful.
