Possessing an Unmercenary love for his neighbor, Saint Agapitus brought and continues to bring healing to those who seek his intercessory prayers in the Name of Christ. The deep blue background of this icon really emphasizes the golden halo of grace that surrounds his head. Through this icon, the holy Physician continually draws my attention and summons me to come and seek his help. I am so glad I have added him to the "cloud of witnesses" in my prayer corner.
