Came quicker than I thought it would, looks great
St. Ephraim of Nea Makri struck me when I first came across the account of his revealing to the Church several centuries after his repose and the several miracles attributed to his intercession to persons both within and without the Church.
The icon itself is vibrant reflecting the novelty of St. Ephraim to the Church. The color scheme is simple, emblematic of the humility of the martyred monk, but the contrasts wonderfully capture the variety and import his miracles.
I have several other UMS icons and have never been disappointed. Indeed, I've never gone anywhere else for icons. May God continue to bless the iconographers at UMS, for His glory.
