I placed this incredible icon of St. John The theologian and beloved disciple right next to my Kazimirowski painting of The Divine Master. I wanted to honor St. John for all his writings. This is the best way I could think of to do that. To the right side of Our Lord in the center of my domestic church. That area has been vacant for 20 years, it was worth the wait.
Most of the 11 x 17 icons I have ordered are actually smaller than this icon lengthwise. I thought it was longer than usual but in fact it is 17 inches long, and most of the other ones I have wind up being around 15 inches long. It is not a problem, but just some feedback.
