St. Theophan was Russian and lived between 1815 and 1894.  He was a prolific writer especially on Christian life and the training of youth in the faith.

Some of his quotes include:

    When I was searching for an icon of St. Theophan, I loved this image the best in comparison to other icon providers. After ordering, I received timely confirmation and shipping notifications.
