This icon is printed using our museum quality paper and then meticulously finished using real gold-leaf. The halo, lettering, and border pin-striping are all hand-painted (please specify Greek, Slavonic or English). Examples of these fine details can be seen in the product photos above.
Each print is mounted to a solid 3/4" solid wood panel, the sides and edges are beveled, sanded and painted a classic Byzantine red. They are finished with a brass D-ring on the backside for easy hanging.
