I have several icons of this great prophet, and this is the best. His face is so trusting as serene as he looks to God's raven to deliver his daily bread. Holy Prophet Elijah, pray to God for us!
The colors and composition are incredible, as is the craftsmanship of the icon--beautiful as always.
I love wild Elijah, long for his faith and relate to his struggles--have so much gratitude for the magnitude of his life and journey. I think he is a prophet for our time. This icon brings me patience and strength especially in dark times.

I bought this 8"x10" for a friend, and he loved it. He liked the art work, traditional as it were. It was also very smooth in it's finish, the colors and lines sharp, and the wood a nice complete work. This icon in particular was neat because of the play between the colors within the icon and the wood finish itself. Overall I felt this was a 5/5 piece, and I half wish I could have kept it for myself! Strong icon, excellent craftsmanship

I loved the colors of this St. Elias icon. It is rich looking and has a soothing quality to it when I look at the icon. I bought three and gave them as gifts and the recipients all loved the icon.
I am so fortunate and blessed to have such an icon of prayer. The framing of the prophet has such a graced humility; for me, the felt-sense of exhaustion balanced by hope (even a raven, instead of a dove!) came to life for me. Thank you for your skills and being there for those of us who sometimes forget to hope.
I bought a large size of this icon of the Prophet Elijah as a baptismal gift for my godson Elijah. His parents and I were very pleased with the quality and the beautiful colors of this icon. It is mounted on beautiful thick wood. I was really pleased that this particular icon shows the raven who fed Elijah for three years in the wilderness.
