I have long wanted an icon of this holy father who identified and collected the most beautiful hagioritic texts that have been written on the inner Prayer of the Heart by our most experienced hesychasts within the Church. I love the way Saint Nikodemos is situated in the sacred desert environment that supported his ascetic life of quiet dedication to Christ.
