I wanted this icon due to it's Byzantine style. I also liked Fr. Seraphim Rose in the Priestly Vestments I have seen in many pictures. I thought it captured enough of "him" in the icon without being too much of a "portrait" and not enough "icon". The icon in person is perfect. The colors are rich and clear in a way that does not display on the internet.
A well executed icon in the Byzantine style in honor of a righteous man of the 20th century.
