ABsolutely beautiful! We've ordered more as a gift to the construction workers who've helped renovate a Catholic Chapel called Our Lady of Mercy in Charleston, SC.
I love this icon. The Lord's mother looks to be deep in thought and is the very expression of the word 'pondering'. Her son is sharing her mood. She is looking just above the viewer in a private moment. We see her but she is looking higher.
