This Icon of Our Lady of Sitka is strikingly beautiful. Looking at this Icon inspires prayer. I would suggest that people purchase the 11 x 17 size - as that makes the size of the Virgin about the size of an 8 x 10.
It is simply beautiful. Her eyes and Christ Jesus always seem to look at you.
This is one of the most revered icons in North America; attributed to the famous iconographer Vladimir Lukich Gorovikovsky. I have seen the original at the Cathedral in Sitka and must say this is a magnificent print.
