I’m not one to try and have a clean aesthetic when buying icons, so to have something so different as my main theotokos icon- it being green- brings such a nice feel to our prayer corner. It is very DARK, so best on a light colored wall with ample lighting to see the beautiful details.
The icon arrived in good time and in excellent condition. The craftsmanship was beautiful. The colors are luminous and the image of the Theotokos and Infant Jesus is poignant. I gave it as a gift and the recipient was delighted.
