These are high quality icons! Someone in another review mentioned that they're a bit darker than depicted. I agree with this. I'm sure the display photograph was taken with high-powered lights.

The icons are beautiful- came just as pictured! We also had issues with our carrier and received very quick replies from customer service. They resent our icons to us immediately after the carrier issues!

Wow. This is the best matching set of Christ/Theotokos icons I've ever seen. Craftsmanship is also superb.
Be aware, however, that they are darker than the pictures on the website. For this reason if you need icons to put on a wooden wall, wood paneling, or anything with a brownish background, then you may want to get a brighter set than these. But on the standard home beige/white walls they look fantastic.
I got the XL and they are beautiful (and big). Perfect for a family icon corner.
