This icon like many other of uncut’s icons is simply beautiful and of high quality and I pray that they will continue giving such excellent service and production

    constant reminder

I opted to mount this in our stairwell so that it can be seen whenever someone walks downstairs. a glass lamp from below emits deep radiant red. I'll keep it here for a while and hope no one falls... this is our 3rd icon from UMS and once again the print rendering quality is well beyond what we expected.

Ever since the feast of St. John of Climacus I had wanted to get an icon of the Ladder of Divine Ascent, and this icon has not disappointed. As always with UMS, the quality is phenomenal.

    Avoiding Perdition

Posted by Gamzehyaavor on 1st Jun 2012

This Ladder of Divine Ascent Icon is, as with all the Uncut Mountain Icons, extraordinarily well made and of great quality.

This is a serious image. I like it a lot and believe it serves a great purpose--to remind us of the battle in which we live. The reality of eternal perdition is captured vividly here with the inherent need for "hanging on tightly" to the "Ladder" of Christ to reach Heaven.

The hideous winged beasts trying to sabotage our lives and derail us into a "slip, trip and fall to damnation are seen clearly in this Icon.

If you like the image then you will appreciate this Icon.
